MODTAC’s M-RAC MAX Series now federally cataloged for the Geissele URG-I and SIG SAUER RSAR.

Modern Tactical Creations, LLC (MODTAC), manufacturer of the Suppressor Shield line of advanced suppressor covers, announces the award of National Stock Numbers (NSNs) for two MAX Series M-RAC Suppressor Shields purpose-built for SOCOM-specific weapon platforms. NSNs were granted by Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane Division (CRANE), authorizing both products for federal acquisition.

The newly cataloged products are:

URG-I M-RAC MAX Series | NSN: 1005-01-737-9275 | SKU: 18B-023-A-65/FDE

SIG SAUER RSAR M-RAC MAX Series | NSN: 1005-01-737-9282 | SKU: 18B-023-C-60

The M-RAC MAX Series Shields utilize a multi-layer advanced composite construction engineered for low thermal transfer, maintaining a Shield surface more than 80% cooler than the suppressor — even through 1,400°F suppressor temperatures and full-auto rates of fire — mitigating operator contact burns, eliminating mirage and thermal bloom that degrade optic performance, and reducing the weapon system’s thermal signature.
